About me

Hi there! I'm Seif, a Product Designer specializing in SaaS and CMS products, particularly in increasing user adoption. With over 5 years of experience, I’ve designed user-centric and scalable CMS solutions, led various projects, and mentored in a UNESCO design workshop.

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with WordPress, which powers 43.5% of all websites, and serves over 160 million users worldwide, including major companies like Meta, Microsoft, Samsung, Spotify, Sony, Slack, Nvidia, and more. I contributed to the development of versions 6.6 and 6.7, with a focus on interaction design, accessibility, prototyping, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups. At Elementary OS, which was featured in Forbes, I worked on version 8, introducing new UX and scalable design system components for over 1.2 million desktops and laptops worldwide, while documenting my designs and creating style guides. At Motoholics, I helped acquire the first 50,000 users by designing their MVP and collaborating with a cross-functional team.

My design process

My design process varies from project to project, but generally I have a strategic approach to design that follows the double diamond framework to ensure I focus ideas towards solving the right problem.

I have experience working within an agile process and I enjoy collaborating with both creative and technical teams to deliver products that provide value to users and achieve business objectives.

With expertise at every step of the product design process, I am able to zoom out to focus on the strategy and zoom in to ensure a pixel perfect delivery.I can manage and run research to understand user behaviour and identify problems and opportunities, and subsequently articulate key insights and translate them into artefacts to test assumptions.

I particularly enjoy visualising systems and flows, and I can create and iterate prototypes into production ready designs that consider the constraints of the user, technology, business and brand.I am adept at communicating product rationale clearly to business owners, team members and stakeholders of all levels.
